Bangkok Stopover - Must Do No.6

Take a River Cruise

Dinner on the river is a fun thing to do and a good way for the Stopover visitor to see some of the sights.

Apart from the Night Cruise, I also took the day trip to Ayutthaya, which is extremely good value for money. Like my 3 Temple Tour, a minibus can pick Stopover travellers up from their accommodation or the local travel agency.

I travelled by coach to the ancient capital, Ayutthaya, visited the temples there and then had a leisurely late lunch on the return trip to Bangkok by boat, along the Chao Phraya River.

This day-trip also includes a brief break to visit the Royal Summer Palace - if necessary you can rent a golf cart to cruise the attractive grounds and gardens.
