Stopover in Singapore

Food and Drink

Stopover in Singapore - Food and DrinkThe food in Singapore is fantastic. The country has an annual Food Festival which features local cusine like Haianese chicken rice, laksa, chili crab, satay and much much more. Head to Marina Bay for a 'steam boat' buffet. It is pretty cheap just $10 or $12 and you can feast on a variety of food like crab, prawns, beef, , pork and chicken.

Just pick your food from the counter and cook it in a hot pot of soup - either Tom Yam or Chicken - and you can also grill it on a hot plate. Eat all you can but there is a fine of $5 for food wastage, though it is seldom enforced. Just take the subway to Marina Bay and get out the station and take bus number SBS 400 and ask the bus driver, he will be able to direct you.
